Play word games with friends

Invite someone directly or share a private invitation link.

Find and add a friend

Sign in with Google and open Profile to choose a unique username.
Open Friends and search for your friend's full username or player tag.
Choose Add friend. They must accept the request.

Your permanent player tag is in Profile, with a Copy tag button. You can also open an online opponent's avatar and send a friend request discreetly.

Start a friendly match

Choose a game mode, then A friend.
Select an available friend and press Invite, or choose Create invitation link and copy the link.
Your friend opens the invitation, joins, and confirms they are ready. The host is ready when the room is first created.

A guest can join through a link without a Google account. Share it privately: anyone with the link can take the available seat. A direct invitation is not a reserved seat. Invitations in Friends expire after five minutes; the room itself lasts up to 24 hours.

Change the next game

Friendly Duel and Co-op default to no timer. Timing options belong to friendly matches; Race always has unlimited guesses and no timer. After a game, the host can use Change settings to choose the next mode or clock in the same room. Both players confirm readiness again.

Choose each other’s word

Select Word swap on the menu and invite a friend. Once you are both ready, use the keyboard to choose a word for your opponent and press Enter to lock it. Your opponent cannot see your chosen word. After both words are locked, guess independently. Both players can finish; the results compare guesses and solving time.

Stay in control

Open a player's avatar for friend and safety actions. Blocking removes the friendship and prevents requests, invitations and future signed-in matchmaking with that account. It does not automatically end the game currently in progress. Manage blocked players in Friends.

Reconnecting or Offline describes the other player's connection. It does not add a timer to an untimed game. Use Back to leave when you want to stop.
