Duel, Race and Co-op
Three ways to play a five-letter word game with another player.
Duel — one word, shared clues
Both players lock a guess before either guess is revealed. When timing is enabled, the first lock starts the other player's response timer. Solve the word to win; if both solve in the same round, the earlier correct submission wins. There is no six-round limit.
Race — fewer guesses wins
Solve the same word on separate boards. Opponent guesses stay hidden until the match finishes. Fewer guesses wins, with solving time breaking ties. After one player solves, the other can still win with fewer guesses.
Co-op — solve it together
Take turns on one shared board. Online Co-op gives your team six attempts; private rooms offer six, ten or unlimited attempts.
How timers work
Online timing is fixed: Duel gives the second player 30 seconds to reply after the first locks a word. Race has a 30-second match clock. Co-op allows 30 seconds per turn. Private rooms offer custom timing. Bots are always untimed.
